Lower Table Rock, Oregon
The first time I drove with my husband into Medford, Oregon (his hometown), he pointed to this mountain that looked like the tip had been cut off and told me that he and his family used to climb what is known as Lower Table Rock when he was growing up. I always wanted to climb it too and this past week, I finally got the opportunity.
It was a great hike with beautiful trees that I don’t normally see on the East Coast. My favorite line of the day came from my youngest daughter. She moaned, “Do we have to climb uphill the whole way?” I replied, “Yes, if we want to get up the hill!”.
Once at the top, there is a beautiful view of the the Rogue Valley.
