Grill Feast ~ Veggies and Sweet Italian Sausage
It is amazing how good homemade sausage is. I’ve made a maple-sage breakfast bulk sausage in the past, but casing your own sausage is such a different and fun beast! Grill this with some great veggies and even fruits for a fun grilling feast!
Depending on the amount of people you have or amount you want to cook:
Veggies of your choice: mushrooms, green/red/yellow/orange peppers, red onions, zucchini, yellow squash, eggplant, or whatever you like! Side note: I love grilled zucchine/squash, but use a mandolin to do thinly-sliced long cuts ~ it doesn’t take long on the grill and it takes on a great flavor with the thin strips. Season with salt and/or pepper before grilling.
Fruit of your choice: pineapple, peaches, or whatever you like! I used pineapple with a little honey drizzle and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top ~~ AMAZING!!
Grill the Italian Sausage Links to about a 170 degree center or to your liking.
