Sautéed Walleye Cheeks
You guys know that I love to buy things at markets and the grocery store that I’ve never heard of…so when I came upon these Walleye Cheeks at Whole Foods, I just asked for 1/4 pound. They were strange and I wasn’t sure if I’d like them. Not only are these little guys amazing, but they take only a few minutes to cook with little prep time. I seriously put a little ghee, garlic, and Italian seasoning in a skillet on medium-high heat. Once the ghee was melted and the skillet was hot, I added my cheeks. I stirred them around until everyone was cooked on both sides ~voila! I plated them and my hubby and I were eating these little morsels within about 7 minutes of me entering the kitchen!
